Welcome to Hertford
An historic market town, Hertford has so much to offer: specialist shops, Hertford Museum, antique shops, pubs and restaurants, riverside walks, town and Castle events.
Councillors
Councillors are democratically elected every four years. Some represent a political party, others are independent of party affiliations.
Meetings
Members of the public are welcome at all meetings and a ten minute public participation period is set aside at the start of each meeting.
Our Responsibilities
The work of the council includes the delivery of services, improving quality of life and giving the community a voice.
Report an Issue
You can report local public problems like potholes, graffiti, or broken streetlights to your local council.
